Warehouse Manager
Our client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is looking to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Warehouse Manager to join their team in Kitwe.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to operational excellence

Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained.

Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including training, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.

Coordinate and optimize daily warehouse operations, including receiving, packing, and dispatching activities.

Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations; conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure goods are correctly handled and stored.

Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements to avoid discrepancies and stock-outs.

Generate regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and performance metrics; analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Manage warehouse budgets, control operational costs, and identify areas for cost efficiency.

Collaborate with departments such as logistics and sales to ensure seamless supply chain coordination

Grade 12 Certificate

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Valid driver’s licence with at least 2 years of driving experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Warehouse Management role, preferably within the FMCG industry
